Laurie Tompkins

Laurie Tompkins has been a nurse practitioner since 1990. Laurie is a specialty trained nurse practitioner with additional post graduate education and is certified as a Menopause Society Certified Provider. Additionally, Laurie is a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health and is a Certified Sexual Health Counselor. Her expertise in hormone therapy includes traditional hormone therapy and compounding hormones as well as education and counseling on lifestyle changes to maintain optimal health during the menopause years.

Laurie works with clients to promote optimal weight and wellness for women of all ages. Laurie also has additional post graduate training in sexual health, pain associated with sexual activity, anorgasmia and other types of sexual dysfunction. Laurie is trained in colposcopoy and vulvoscopy, vulvar disorders, pelvic pain and previvorship care. Laurie’s graduate degree is from Vanderbilt University in Nashville and she served as Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine until 2018 before leaving to work in private practice.


Laura Kurowski, NRCMA

Laura Kurowski, NRCMA has been in healthcare for over 20 years and has been dedicated to women’s health for most of that time. Laura’s interests are especially rooted in menopause, vulvar, urogyn and minimally invasive services. Laura is an active member of the National Association of Health Care Professionals, and co-chairs several councils at Vanderbilt Medical Center for the enrichment and learning of peers and colleagues. Laura has been involved in drug studies, and takes part in numerous continuing education courses annually. Laura has known Laurie Tompkins for almost a decade, initially hired to work directly with her in her previous clinic.
